Behavioural Therapist and Head of Administrative Support
Hey, I’m Kirsty, I am a qualified chef but since having my beautiful baby girl in 2018 I have retrained to follow alternative career paths. Firstly, I completed certificates in accounting and book keeping, HR and payroll management and Level 3 Administrations, Personal Assistant and Secretarial Diploma in order to be the best I can possibly be in my role as Head of Administrative Support at Rainbow Behavioural Therapies. Being part of Rainbow’s developments from the beginning led me to find my passion for behavioural science and the difference this can make in people’s lives. I have been supported by the Director and the rest of Team Rainbow to complete the RBT training and I am now working with some fantastic children and families and loving this fulfilling role.
I am so happy to be working with an amazing team at Rainbow and to be supporting the families and services we are working with.
I worked in schools with children with social communication difficulties for 11 years, while bringing up my two children. During this time, I studied for my degree in Early Years Education, and post grad Psychology at the University of Chester.
These experiences led me to become an ABA Therapist in 2015. During the last 6 years, I have worked extensively with children from age 2 to 14, and their families, on home and school/nursery programmes, with a special interest in bringing behavioural interventions and traditional speech and language therapy interventions together, to help children to make progress with communication, and learn new skills.
I’m now completing my MSc in ABA, with the goal of becoming a BCBA. I’m really excited to be a part of such a wonderful, supportive team like Rainbow, and look forward to the new opportunities and challenges this will bring.
Hi I’m Katie. I have recently finished 4 years at University studying to become a primary school teacher, receiving a degree in teaching, learning and child development and then completing a PGCE.
From my 4 years of working in various schools in the North West, I have had the privilege of working with children of differing backgrounds, abilities and SEND. During my training in schools, I have gained experience in whole class and 1:1 teaching, creating task based activities and have created and implemented needs based interventions to support and further the abilities of the children.
My interest for ABA started from working 1:1 with children with Autism when on placement for my undergraduate degree. This was an area I knew little about and I found myself wanting to know more around Autism as a whole and I decided to focus my dissertation on this subject in a way to progress my own knowledge.
After completing my undergrad, my interest in this area developed more and more. I had the opportunity to continue to work with children with Autism and create intervention tasks and support resources for children with Autism on my PGCE. I found it incredibly rewarding working with these children and seeing their development and I knew from there it was a career path I definitely wanted to follow!
I am incredibly excited to join such an amazing, caring and dedicated team at Rainbow Behavioural Therapies and to work with some lovely families and children. I strive to continually develop my knowledge of ABA by completing my RBT qualification in order to offer those that I work with the best support possible to further facilitate their learning.
Hi I’m Megan. I’m 23 years old, I have a passion for childcare, animals and nature! I have a degree in public services, law enforcement and prisons however chose not to go down a public services career as I wanted to go down a path that I would thrive in and for me that’s working with children and caring for others. I have worked within a nursery, as a nanny and as a leader in my local church for children aged 2-5 years old and 13-17 years old. I have always felt most fulfilled and happy when working with children. I have recently started my career in ABA tutoring, I’m very excited to begin this journey, to work along side the team at Rainbow Behavioural Therapies and gain more knowledge and skills along the way!
Hi I’m Becca and Im 23 years old. I have recently completed 2 degrees in the last 4 years in Teaching Learning and Child Development and a PGCE in primary education. I have worked in a variety of schools where I have had the opportunity to teach and support children with autism and other learning difficulties. I was able to create and adapt activities to ensure every child’s individual needs were being supported within their education and day to day life.
I’m extremely excited to be joining Rainbow and cannot wait to start working with this amazing team and the families and children involved.

I have always found working with children and young people really inspiring and eye opening as the way children and young people learn and work the resilience they have to always try and try again is astonishing hopefully once I gradation from Masters I would like to go on and do my PHD is children and young people behaviour linked to forest school.

I am really excited to join such a friendly and caring team and to meet some lovely families.
Hello, my name Tianna (Tia), I am 21 years old. I would love to change the world one day and make it a better place for everyone. Especially children! I am currently completing my third year as an undergraduate student studying psychology at Liverpool John Moores University.
I am very passionate about helping people, especially to become the best version of themselves. I cannot wait to see where my journey with Rainbows takes me, and I hope to make a difference with the people that I work with.
Hi, my name is Sian, I’m 20 years old, and I recently began my RBT training at Rainbow. Alongside this, I’m in my third year at Liverpool John Moores University studying psychology.
I have really enjoyed my time here so far and am beginning to feel a lot more confident within my role. I volunteered at the Rainbow holiday club this past spring and summer and realised I would love to learn more about applied behavioural analysis.
I was lucky enough to be given this opportunity and open myself up to a new career I’d never previously heard about. I spend most of my time around friends and family, listening to music, playing video games, exploring the city, and going to the gym… when I can be bothered.
Hi I’m Sarah, I’m a third year psychology student with an interest in speech and language therapy.
I enjoy volunteering and have always had a love for helping people. I truly believe that the work Rainbow Behavioural Therapies do is amazing and I am very passionate about my part in it.
Hi, I’m Cameron. I’m 20 years old and currently in the third year of my Psychology degree at Liverpool John Moores. My goal is to become a clinical psychologist, as I believe this is where I can make the biggest impact on peoples lives. Part of this will be helping children with learning disabilities.
I greatly enjoy working with children, and I am keen to further my knowledge as a behavioural therapist as this will help me in my future career. I volunteered for Rainbow over the summer, and I had so much fun and joy working with kids of all ages helping them achieve their targets.
I learned so much from volunteering with Rainbow about Autism itself and numerous ways to implement support needed for each of the child’s needs. I am keen to keep building my knowledge especially with children with Autism, as I knew very little, and I am wanting to expand my knowledge within this area. I am excited to embark on this journey with Rainbow and cannot wait to get started, as working with these kids brings me so much joy and happiness, and this is what I aim to give in return.
Hi everyone, I’m Lilli and I am a trainee behavioural therapist with Rainbow Behavioural Therapies. I am currently in my third year of university studying Psychology, with aspirations of becoming a BCBA.
I joined Rainbow because I absolutely LOVED volunteering at their holiday club with the amazing children (and staff too!). I knew I wanted to work with children, but once introduced to Rainbow, it was here where I found out about ABA therapy, what it offered, and I knew this is what I wanted to do as a career.
My goal now is to be able to reach, help and guide as many children, families and individuals as I can, implementing personalised, effective (as well as fun!) programs for our wonderful kids so that they can achieve their highest potential.
Along the way I will be increasing and developing my own knowledge and skills, continuously learning and becoming the best behavioural therapist I can be.
I’m very excited to start this incredible journey. With such a supportive team and lovely families, I look forward to my future with Rainbow Behavioural Therapies!
